# FAQ: How to calculate how many words you need to translate

Transcy does not provide a built-in tool to count total words on your website. You’ll need to estimate manually, simply follow all these steps:

→ Select "**Content translation**" menu in Transcy
→ Select the source you want to translate (select all if you want to count all of your store)
→ Then, click on "**Translate with AI**"

→ Choose "**OpenAI**" and the pop-up will show total words and translation price for these resources (please do not click on **"Translate now**" if you don't want to translate)

→ You can also click on "**Selected items**" to filter which resources you want to calculated
