I. What is Translate Images
Translate Images is Transcy's latest breakthrough feature that intelligently translates text within your images while maintaining perfect visual consistency. Unlike simple image replacement, this advanced tool:
- Preserves your original background, layout, and brand elements
- Extracts text content and translates it accurately
- Recreates translated text with matching fonts, sizes, and positioning
- Maintains your brand's visual identity across all languages
To access "Translate Image" you need to be Regional plan and above to unlock this feature.
II. How Translate Images Works
1. Image Requirements
To ensure optimal translation results, your images must meet these specifications:
Supported Formats:
- PNG, JPG, WEBP files
Size Limitations:
- Maximum file size: 50MB
- Width/Height ratio: Between 0.6567 and 1.51
2. Translation Process
The translation follows this intelligent workflow:
→ Analyzes your image layout and identifies text elements
→ Preserves backgrounds, logos, and brand elements completely
→ Translates extracted text to your target language
→ Recreates text with equivalent fonts, colors, and positioning
→ Delivers a professionally translated image maintaining visual integrity

1. Choosing Your Translation Method
When working with images in Transcy, you'll see two options:
- Use your image: Use your own images to replace existing ones (existing functionality)
- Translate Images: Smart translation with AI (new Beta feature)

2. Customizing Your Translation
Select Your Tone:
To Choose "Tone of voice" follow this step: "Translation" in Transcy → Click "Translate images" → Choose "Translate" your images you wanna change → "Translate with AI" → "Tone of voice"
Choose from four translation styles to match your brand voice:
- Professional: Formal, business-appropriate language
- Casual: Friendly, conversational tone
- Simple: Clear, easy-to-understand wording
- Creative: Engaging, dynamic expressions
Quick Language Switching:
Easily switch between target languages during the translation process.
3. Reviewing and Applying Results
After translation, you'll receive:
→ Side-by-side comparison of original and translated images

IV. Usage & Pricing
1. Free Usage Limits
Translate Images includes generous free usage based on your Transcy plan:
- Regional Plan: 5 free translations per month
- Continental Plan: 5 free translations per month
- Cross-border Plan: 10 free translations per month
- Global: 20 free translations per month
Your remaining quota is always visible in the interface, so you can track your usage easily.
2. Additional Usage Options
When you've used your free translations:
Pay-per-Use Pricing:
- 1000 tokens per translation for additional usage
- Purchase as many translations as you need
3. Feedback Rewards
Earn Free Translations:
After using your free quota, you can earn additional translations:
→ Complete our feedback survey (appears once after quota exhaustion)
→ Receive 2 bonus translations immediately after submission
→ Help us improve the feature while extending your usage
V. Managing Your Translated Images
To see all your history image translate, Translate images → Product → Translate → three dot → AI translation history
Automatic History Storage:
- All generated images are saved for 3 months
- Easy access to your previous translations
- Automatic cleanup after 3 months to optimize storage
Plan Changes:
When upgrading or downgrading your Transcy plan:
- Current usage is evaluated against your new plan limits
- Remaining quota adjusts to your new plan allowance
- Exceeded usage may require additional payment or feedback completion
Troubleshooting
If you don't see your complete image, this may be because the data hasn't finished syncing from Shopify yet. In this case, please try press "Sync content" to Sync from Shopify once more
