How to Replace Images on Other Pages with Transcy
Want your homepage banner to speak different languages? Transcy's Replace Image feature lets you show special images for each language. Your French customers see French banners, your Spanish customers see Spanish ones - it's that simple!

I. What You Need to Start
How many images you can change:
- Premium: 100 product pages + 100 collection pages + 100 other images
- Enterprise: No limits
- Need more? Get a Extend Your Resource Limits in Transcy
What images can you change?
Homepage banners, logos, and other site images. You can find these in Shopify Admin → Content → Files.
Good to Know: Images from Other pages are synced directly from Shopify Files so the number of pages in-app depends on data on Shopify system
II. Step-by-Step Guide
1. Find the Replace Image Tool
Go to Translation → Translate images → Click Others
You'll see:
- Default Image: What your customers see now
- Image Replacements: New images you'll add for other languages
2. Pick Which Image to Change
Choose an image from the list (like your homepage banner). Use the search box to find it faster.
Don't see your image? Click Sync from Shopify to get the latest files.
3. Add Your New Image
- Choose (Target) language that you want to replace image
- Copy and paste your replacing image link into this tab OR click on Browse file to upload images in your local library
- Click Save
4. Make It Show on Your Store
Click Publish to make your replaced images in target languages on store-front
5. Test It Out
Change the language on your store and see your new images!
III. Managing Your Images
Turn Images On or Off
You can:
- Turn single images on/off
- Turn many images on/off at once
- Keep images saved but hidden
- Delete images you don't need
Remember: New images start hidden. You must click Publish to show them to customers.
What Happens When You Hit Limits
Can't add more images?
Time to upgrade your plan or get more space!
Changing Plans: If you go to a lower plan, all images become hidden. You'll need to pick which ones to show again based on your new limits. Learn about plan changes

What files work:
- Types: JPEG, GIF, PNG
- Size: Maximum 10MB
