Overview of App Wallet - Transcy Token System

Managing your translation budget has never been easier! This article explains how Transcy's App Wallet works with our simple token system, making it straightforward to track your translation costs and top up whenever you need more translations for your global store.


Good to know: This is a brand new feature that replaces all of Transcy's previous payment methods. So if you see a pop-up appear while using the app that mentions switching to using 'tokens,' don't worry - this is just our notification system to help you understand the new feature and how we're transitioning from the old method to the new one. This pop-up won't affect any of your previous settings.

I. Understanding the App Wallet System


1. What is the App Wallet?


Transcy uses one simple payment method for all your translation needs - the App Wallet. Think of it as your personal translation account where you store tokens (credits) that get used each time you translate content or images.


Your wallet balance shows up as tokens everywhere in the app, making it easy to see exactly how much translation power you have left.


2. How the Token System Works


The App Wallet operates on a pay-per-use basis, which means:

  • You only pay for what you actually translate
  • All costs are shown in easy-to-understand tokens
  • No hidden fees


The Token system is designed to work with all Transcy services, including "Translate images", "Automate translations", and "Translate content" (all AI engines without API keys)


II. Token pricing and Translation Cost


1. Token Pricing


Our token system is straightforward:

  • $1 = 1,000 tokens
  • $10 = 10,000 tokens
  • $25 = 25,000 tokens
  • $50 = 50,000 tokens (plus bonus 2,500)
  • $100 = 100,000 tokens (plus bonus 10,000)
  • $250 = 250,000 tokens (plus bonus 25,000)
  • $500 = 500,000 tokens (plus bonus 50,000)


The more tokens you buy, the better deals you get! Bulk purchases come with bonus tokens, helping you save money on your translation projects.


2. Content Translation Costs


All engines have the same token pricing for content translation, so there's no need to worry about cost differences:

  • 1,2 tokens = 1 word


3. Image Translation Costs


Image translation is simple and predictable:

  • 1,000 tokens = 1 image translation

III. Manage Tokens


1. Where to Add More Tokens


You can top up your wallet from three convenient locations:


→ From Account & Settings

  • Go to Account & Settings → Wallet → Get more tokens

  • Go to Translation → Translate content → Click the "+" button next to "your token"

2. Manage and Transaction History


Please follow all these steps: In Transcy dashboard → "Account & Settings" → "Wallet"

Every token activity gets recorded automatically:

  • When you add tokens
  • When tokens are used for translations

This complete log helps you track your translation spending and plan your budget better.


Once you add tokens to your wallet, cannot be withdrawn
