# Overview of Content Synchronization System

*Transcy's sync system automatically detects changes in your Shopify store and pulls the latest source content into Transcy*

## I. Content Synchronization System

Transcy syncs different content types on different schedules based on importance.

**To change settings:** Go to "**Content translation**" menu in Transcy → "**Settings**" button next to "**Sync content**"

Transcy provide 3 options Synchronization:

1. **Real-Time Sync**
This ensures any changes to your default content on Shopify are immediately reflected inside Transcy

2. **Daily Sync**
Automatically pulls updated default content from Shopify into Transcy once per day, balancing performance with content freshness

3. **Manual Sync**
For immediate updates outside the automatic schedule:
* **Sync Content button**: Click to force immediate sync of daily resources. Go to "**Content translation**" menu in Transcy →  "**Sync content**" on the top right

## II. Advanced Sync Scheduling

### 1. Real-Time Sync Configuration

**Cross-border and Global Plans** can configure real-time sync:
* **Custom Resources**: Select which resources should sync immediately
* **Performance Note**: You may see loading indicators while processing - this is normal
* **Processing Time**: Allow a few seconds to minutes for complex updates

### 2. Scheduled Sync Setup

Control precise timing for content updates:
* **Timezone**: All times display in your store's local timezone
* **Minimum Interval**: Each sync must be at least 60 minutes apart
* **Flexible Scheduling**: Set different time slots based on your needs

### 3. Plan-Based Limitations

**Sync slots** by subscription level:

* **Regional Plan**: 2 default slots
* **Continental Plan**: 4 default slots
* **Cross-border Plan**: 6 default slots
* **Global Plan**: 6 default slots

**Expand capacity**: Purchase additional slots at $2.8 each when needed.

| After clicking "Sync content," you may need to wait a little while for Transcy to pull your default content from Shopify into the Transcy system. The time required depends on how much data you have, so the content will not update instantly
