Set Up Switchers on Your Store with Transcy
Once you've configured your language and currency settings in Markets, the next exciting step is setting up your Switcher. This powerful feature allows your customers to effortlessly select their preferred language and currency, creating a seamless and personalized shopping experience that drives engagement and sales.

Navigate to Switcher Setting → General → follow instructions How to activate Transcy Switcher on your store through Theme Editor to enable the Transcy App Embed block in your Shopify Theme Editor.
Old users having the difference in View mode setting between 2 devices will need to choose and apply only one mode to both devices.
You have complete control over who sees your Switcher:
Everyone: Choose this mode to make your Switcher visible to all customers
Only Admin: This mode allows only administrators to view the Switcher, Please be advised that switcher under "Only admin" mode is for only admin to view
Please note: Transcy applies the same display mode across both desktop and mobile devices to ensure perfect synchronization. If you're an existing user with different settings between devices, simply select one mode to apply to both
Geolocation is the intelligent feature determines your visitors' location to automatically suggest the most relevant language and currency options.
Transcy offers two fantastic geolocation modes:
Auto Switch: Automatically direct to the language/ currency right after entering your online store.
Recommend: Show a recommendation popup of the location, language and currency, visitors are allowed to confirm and process to the correct version - Please be noted that in some countries, auto directing to another URL without confirmation might not be allowed. We suggest to use Recommend popup instead.
Currently, Auto Switch Currency is only available with our Basic plan and above, while Auto Switch Language starts with Growth plan and higher. We're continuously working to expand these features across all plans to ensure every merchant can deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Make your Switcher truly yours with our diverse template collection! You'll find everything in the Advanced tab, where creativity meets functionality.
Choose between two styles with a default template and the list of available templates on each Style. Especially, you can set up template for Switcher separately on Desktop and Mobile.
Classic: Timeless and elegant
Modern: Sleek and contemporary ( Only available from Growth plan and higher )
Each style offers multiple templates designed to complement both light and dark themes. Click Customize to create your own copy and you can also easily customize a template that you wish then apply this template to your store. You can rename template in Your templates list for easy management
In case you have some new customized templates for mobile, you can also apply those templates to desktop and vice versa.
In our newest update, lovely that you can pick more favorite templates besides current Classic templates. You can choose available templates in Modern style (new style) to combine and design a Switcher fit with your store-front just a second.
Template Limits by Plan:
Free Plan: 1 custom Classic template and unable to pick any other available templates in Classic list except the default template. Kindly refer reading this to know more Why can't I save more my own Switcher template in app?
Basic Plan: Up to 3 Classic templates on each device (Desktop, Mobile)
Growth & Premium Plans: Up to 6 templates total with any style (Classic/Modern) .
You can set up all properties of Switcher and Selectors on Desktop and Mobile separately such as:
Positions: Place your Switcher exactly where it works best
Switcher Style: Choose between dropdown and popup displays
Color Schemes: Customize borders, backgrounds, text color, hover color, and button color,...

NOTE:
For password protected stores, Preview window in the right panel only helps you to have a better visual before applying any change. To see how color effects applied on your store exactly, please kindly view and check it on your real device or please disable Password.
On your live website, customer only need to select a language/currency on Switcher then click on Apply button to apply that language/currency.
E.g. Label contents such as Language, Currency, Search in English at default on Switcher. Once visitors select a target language on the Switcher and apply then all these label contents would be translated according to that target language automatically. You can edit its translation manually in-app easily, click here to learn more.
