Understand "Notifications" resource and how to translate in app

Want your customers to receive order confirmations and updates in their language? Transcy can translate Shopify's email notifications so your customers get a fully localized experience from browsing to purchase confirmation.


I. How Email Notification Translation Works


Transcy collects email notifications directly from Shopify's system, allowing you to translate and edit these notifications easily within the app.


Once you've translated email notifications, when customers place orders in any translated target language (Editable language), Transcy automatically connects with the order data to send properly translated email notifications.


To access this feature requires Growth plan or higher and is only available for Editable languages


II. How to Translate Email Notifications


→ Go to Translations → Select "Notification" resource

→ Choose "Edit Translation" (look like a pencil icon)

→ Select the specific notification you want to translate or edit

III. Important Limitations


SMS notifications cannot be translated because Shopify no longer supports translatable fields for SMS templates.
