1. Understanding the Four Main Status


Transcy uses four clear status indicators to help you understand the translation state of your content:


Translated

Your content has been successfully translated by Transcy and is ready for your international customers. This status indicates complete, up-to-date translations that accurately reflect your original content.


Partly-Translated

Some elements within your resource have been translated while others remain untranslated. This mixed status typically occurs when you're working through large catalogs or have added new content that hasn't been processed yet.


Untranslated

Content that hasn't been translated yet, or translations that were synced directly from Shopify without processing through Transcy. This status helps you identify content that needs immediate attention for your multilingual store.


Outdated

Your original content has been updated, but the corresponding translations haven't been refreshed to match. This status is crucial for maintaining accuracy, as it flags content where your international customers might see outdated information.


II. Process Translation Status


1. Translation Progress


When you initiate AI translation or delete existing translations, Transcy provides real-time progress updates through an intuitive popup interface. This transparency helps you plan your workflow and set realistic expectations for completion times.


The progress display includes:

  • Estimated completion time: Plan your schedule around translation completion
  • Percentage completed: Visual progress bar showing current status
  • Current processing stage: Understand exactly what's happening with your content


2. Management System


Transcy processes translations efficiently through a queue system with four distinct stages:


In Queue

Your content is waiting for its turn to be processed. This status appears when multiple translation jobs are running simultaneously, and Transcy is managing the workload to ensure quality results.


In Progress

Active translation is occurring. Your content is being processed by Transcy's advanced AI translation system, with quality checks and optimization happening in real-time.


Completed

Translation has finished successfully. Your content is now available in the target language and ready for your international customers to discover.


Failed

The translation encountered an error, but don't worry – Transcy provides easy retry options to resolve the issue quickly.
