# Why Does Transcy Need Access Permissions to Your Shopify Account?

When you install Transcy, you may notice the "Permission details" section in your Shopify App settings. These permissions are essential for Transcy to deliver optimal performance and seamless integration with your store.

We request these specific access rights to ensure all Transcy features—including Translation and Currency conversion—function properly on your site. These permissions also help us maintain service quality, implement improvements, and protect both our users and our platform from potential misuse.
