How to Remove or Unpublish Target Currencies in Transcy

Sometimes you need to clean up your currency options or adjust which currencies appear in specific markets. Transcy offers two different ways to remove currencies, each serving a unique purpose for your global store management.

I. Remove Currency from Your Entire Store

Use this method when: You want to completely remove a currency from your store across all markets.

Steps to follow:

1. Navigate to "Market management" menu in Transcy → "Currencies"
2. Find the target currency you want to remove
3. Select the currency to delete it

Important Note: If the currency you're removing is set as the default currency for any markets, you'll see a notification popup. You'll need to change the default currency in your Shopify market settings first before proceeding.

II. Remove Currency from Specific Markets Only

Use this method when: You want to hide a currency from one market while keeping it available in others.

Steps to follow:

1. Go to "Market management" in Transcy
2. Click on the specific market you want to modify
3. Click the "Currencies in use"
4. Hover to your Target currency you want to remove
5. Click the trash icon that appears
6. Confirm the removal
