IV. How Market Logic Works
Understanding how Transcy handles languages and currencies will help you manage your international markets more effectively:
Language Management Logic
Main Domain Languages:
- Adding a language to your main domain automatically adds it to all markets
- Removing a language from the main domain removes it from all markets
Sub-domain Languages:
- Adding a language to a sub-domain only affects that specific domain
- Removing a language from a sub-domain only affects that domain
Currency Management Logic
Currency Assignment:
- Currencies are added to specific markets individually
- Each currency is automatically published when added to a market
Country Management
Adding Countries:
- New countries must be added through your Shopify admin
- Transcy will automatically sync these changes to your markets
