Can you translate variants in bulk?
Yes, absolutely! Transcy empowers you to translate your product variants in bulk. This feature allows you to efficiently translate various product options like colors, materials, styles, and more across multiple products.
To translate variants in bulk, please go to Translation --> Manage translation --> Click on Product --> Select the Translation Tools --> Tick "Only translate specific elements" --> Select Elements
However, here are the specific instances where variant values are typically excluded from bulk translation:
Pre-defined untranslated words (TBU): Transcy has a list of pre-defined terms that are intentionally left untranslated. These are often brand names, technical terms, or words that should remain in their original language.
Clothing Sizes: Standard clothing sizes are often recognized internationally. Therefore, the following are typically not translated:
S, M, L, XL, XS, XXL, XXXL
Numeric Clothing Sizes: 1, 2, 3, 4,... (and so on)
Electronic Device Options: Many terms related to electronics are technical specifications or widely adopted terms that are best left in their original form for accuracy:
iOS, Android, Windows, macOS
Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7, AMD Ryzen 7
