Deactivate Your Transcy App Without Uninstalling
Looking to pause your Transcy subscription while preserving all your settings and data? Our convenient Deactivate feature allows you to temporarily stop your subscription fees while keeping the app installed in your Shopify admin. This article guides you through the entire process from deactivation to reactivation.
Transcy's Deactivate feature offers you the flexibility to temporarily pause your subscription payments while keeping the app installed in your Shopify admin. This preserves all your translation data and settings for when you're ready to use the app again.
The Deactivate option is specially designed for monthly subscription users. If you're on an annual plan, you have two options: either wait until the end of your billing cycle or uninstall the app completely if immediate deactivation is needed.
Navigate to Account & Settings → General Settings in your Transcy dashboard. Here you'll find the Deactivate tab with all the information you need about pausing your subscription.
Before proceeding, we recommend carefully reviewing the deactivation information presented on screen to ensure you understand exactly what changes will occur in your store.
We're constantly working to improve Transcy! When deactivating, you'll have the opportunity to share why you're pausing your subscription. Your insights help us enhance the app and better meet your needs when you return.
- After deactivation, the Transcy language switcher will no longer appear on your storefront. Your customers will only see your store's default language.
- All your settings and translation data shall be safe in our servers as long as you keep installing the app in Shopify admin.
- If you deactivate during your trial period, we'll save your remaining trial days! When you reactivate, you can continue using your remaining trial days before needing to select a paid plan.
- After the app is in deactive mode, you will see this pop-up after logging in the app. Please press on "Reactivate" to activate the app again. It will lead you to the Pricing plan, from here you will select the plan and approve the charge to start the subscription.
