Yes, Transcy can translate checkout pages. The process is straightforward when everything is properly configured:


Step-by-step translation process:


  1. Go to "Content Translation" menu in Transcy → Scroll down for "Themes" resource
  2. Click on Theme content
  3. Find and select the box next to "Checkout & system"
  4. Click to translate the checkout page elements


While Transcy supports checkout translation, there are several important technical considerations to be aware of:


Language type requirements


Checkout pages can only be translated using Editable language types. Non-editable languages cannot be translated on checkout pages due to technical limitations in how these language sources integrate with Shopify's checkout system.


If you're using "Non-editable languages", you'll need to switch your language type from "Non-editable" to "Editable"


Shopify platform limitations


Third-party app restrictions: Due to Shopify's own platform limitations, third-party translation functions cannot be translated on the checkout page.


Remember that checkout translation works only with Editable languages
