FAQ: How to prevent product name from being translated in the product page?

Sometimes you want to keep your product names in their original language to maintain brand consistency. Here's how to prevent Transcy from translating your product names.

I. For Products That Already Have Translations

Manage Translation → select target language → Product Resource → three dots icon → "Delete Translation"

In the popup window, select only Product Name and choose target languages → click "Delete"

Your product names will now appear in their original language while other content remains translated.

II. For Products Without Existing Translations

Method 1: Using Specific Elements
Translation → Select Specific Elements → uncheck Product Name

Method 2: Using Blocked Elements
Translation → Product → select your product → three dots icon → "Blocked Elements Translation"
