FAQ: What do translation statuses mean?

Don't worry about these status messages! They only apply when using Transcy's manual translation feature. If you're using 3rd-party translation (auto translation), these statuses won't affect your store at all.


Understanding the Situation


These status indicators appear when you have manual translations set up in Transcy:


  • Untranslated: Content needs manual translation
  • Partly-translated: Some content is manually translated, some isn't
  • Outdated: Original content changed after manual translation was done


The Simple Solution


Enable 3rd-party translation (auto translation) and forget about these statuses:


→ Go to Translation Settings in your Transcy dashboard
→ Turn on 3rd-party translation
→ Your content translates automatically in real-time


Once auto translation is enabled, your customers will see fully translated content regardless of what status shows in your dashboard.
