FAQ: Why review translation showing incorrectly

If you're experiencing situations like "why your translation of reviews showing incorrectly from review app" or "some reviews do not appear when I switch the language," this guide will help you fix it quickly.

Running a global store means making sure every part of your shop speaks your customer's language - including those valuable customer reviews. Sometimes, when you use third-party review apps, the way they sync with Transcy can cause small mix-ups with translations.

Don't worry - this is common and usually takes just a few minutes to fix! We'll show you exactly how to resolve it using Judge.me as an example, since many store owners love this app.

Here is a simple guide to get everything working smoothly again:

  • First, go to the Translation section in your Transcy admin.
  • From there, click on Metafield Resources
  • In the search bar, type the keyword jdgm. This is the code associated with the Judge.me app.
  • You will see some translations related to this keyword. Simply delete them. This won't break your reviews; it just removes the conflicting text.
  • Finally, click the Save button to apply the changes.

This method works great for resolving conflicts with Judge.me. If you find that the issue continues after trying these steps, or if you are using a different review app, we are always here to help you!
