FAQ: How to prevent content being translated?
Want to maintain your brand identity across different markets? Sometimes keeping your resources names or contents in their original language is the smart choice for brand consistency. Here are two easy ways to do this with Transcy.
Option 1: One-by-one Solution
Perfect when you only need to adjust a few specific names:
→ Copy the original name from your default language
→ Paste it directly into the target language field
→ Click Save
Your selected specific resources names will now display in their original language while everything else stays translated.
Option 2: Mutiple Solution
For example, you got lots of products? This method saves you tons of time by handling multiple products at once.
First, remove existing translations:
→ Go to "Translation"
→ Click Manage Translation
→ Select "Translate content"
→ Choose your target language
→ Click Product Resource
→ Hit the three dots icon
→ Select "Delete Translation"
In the popup window:
→ Check only Product Name
→ Select your target languages
→ Click "Delete"
After completing these steps, your product names will stay in their original language to maintain brand consistency across all markets.
