Q: Does the language count in each plan include the store's default language?


No. The number of languages in each plan counts target languages only — the store's default language is not included in the count.


For example, on the Regional plan (3 target languages), if your store's default language is German, you can add 3 additional target languages (e.g., English, French, Spanish) — giving you 4 languages total in your store.


Note: The number of languages based on plans counts only target languages and does not count the default language.



Q: Does the currency count in each plan include the store's default currency?


No. The number of currencies in each plan counts target currencies only — the store's default currency is not included in the count.


For example, on the Regional plan (3 target currencies), if your store's default currency is USD, you can add 3 additional target currencies (e.g., EUR, GBP, JPY) — giving you 4 currencies total in your store.

Q: My plan says 200 automate translation, but we have 1,500 products. Does that mean 1,300 products cannot be translated automatically?


No. These are two separate quotas with different purposes:


1. Product translation quota (e.g., 1,500 products on Cross-Border)

This is the total number of products you can translate — using any method (manual editing, or AI translation). All 1,500 products can be translated.


2. Automate translation quota (e.g., 200 products on Cross-Border)

This controls how many products are set to automatically trigger translate when your source content is changed in Shopify. It is a trigger limit, not a translation limit.

Note: All 1,500 products can be translated. The 200 automate limit only means 200 products will be re-translated automatically when content changes. The remaining 1,300 can still be translated — just by triggering manually. No human translation required.
